FAQ

What does the Nourishing Naturopath specialise in?

Women’s health, fertility, prenatal, postpartum, peri and menopause, gut health, sleep problems, skin issues and more...

What does a Naturopath do?

Naturopathic philosophy is grounded on preventative medicine to encourage a healthy and happy life. I treat the body as a whole, support the body’s ability to heal itself and use non-invasive and natural remedies. I strive to encourage, empower and educate you about looking after your own health.

What will happen in the Initial Consultation?

I ask numerous questions to gain a deep understanding of your health so I can provide the best evidence-based treatment individualised to you.
Together, we will go through your body systems, past and current conditions, personal medical history, family medical history, diet and lifestyle and much more

Do I have to have a medical condition to see a Naturopath?

You do not have to have an existing condition. A naturopath can provide advice for general health and wellbeing and provide advice to reduce the risk of future illness.

How often will I need to come back and see you?

It depends on you, the individual, your health issue(s) and how long you have had the health issue(s) for. After your first consultation, I will be able to give you an approximate time frame of treatment.

What treatments do you use?

I enlist the help of nutritional supplements, herbal medicine and dietary and lifestyle recommendations.

Are there any additional costs?

Nutritional supplements and herbal medicine incur an additional cost if prescribed.
